You should buy yourself one of these as a birthday present:

The perfect blend of German engineering and American patriotism.
  11. The immigrants I know put more into this holiday than most that are born here.
  12. Give them time. :bag: :ninja:
  13. when the BBC were running their 'great britons' series a couple of years ago, my suggestion of George Washington didn't make the cut. :atoz:

Anyone watch the HBO show John Adams? Great casting resulting in great TV. Quite remarkable that he and Jefferson died on July 4 on the 50 anniversary if I remember the facts.

Thank you for the salutation from Britain. Despite the revolution there is still much love here for the Mother country.

Thanks for the well wishes mate. After considering the sundry small tyrannies and high taxes we Yanks now enjoy with our beloved taxation with representation these days, old King George doesn't seem to be such a bad fellow after all.

Thanks for that, and let me also add how grateful I am that your side had a penchant for wearing bright red uniforms and standing in neat, easy to shoot straight lines.

Oh, and thank you a million times over for David Hume, Thomas Paine, John Locke, Adam Smith, and the Beatles!!! :D
