I cant believe no one posted this earlier.

Did anyone do you anything to celebrate? Express everything in terms of pi? Tell time in radians? Eat things that have "pi" in them (pina colada, pine nuts, etc... not just pie)? Make a square pie and then say "pie are squared?"(my favorite).

All I had was a physics test and a crappy math lesson. My teacher gave us 7 ridiculously hard integrals (we dont know how to do them yet) and asked us to solve them. It turns out that all of the answers were like..pi/2, root pi, etc. Lame.

Dude, that's the weirdest thing. I'm on the phone right now with my buddy (okay, we're geeks), who called me to ask how many digits of Pi I knew off the top of my head.

    I said, "3.1415926535". Huh.

    I really had no idea.

At a lecture I went to recently (12th Feb) the lecturer started by saying "Happy Darwin Day." He then went on to point out that Isaac Newton was born on December 25th, "so we'll know what to wish people when that date comes round". I like it!

We ordered two party-sized pizzas in my precalculus class today.

They were gone in ten minutes.

it's spring break for me, so the only thing i could really do for pi-day was make an on-line quiz dealie.

    pi quiz.

    those make-your-own quizzes are addicting.

I'm doing my filter calculations in radian frequency today, and free-space calcs in steradians. ;)
