So has Fender become a wussy company and bent the the knee just because of market share?

Can you be more specific as to the nature of your grievance?

Or should I just get off your lawn now? :D

    1) He'll be fine. He'll be building for somebody by Tuesday of next week.

    2) I had to Google it. If he really did post a graphic of a Jeep covered in blood with a meme regarding getting through protestors in traffic, he brought it on himself. The first amendment protects us from government persecution. It does not protect us from our employer. Fender has an obligation to its shareholders. This post/meme, if true, had the potential to hurt the company. Never mind that it was stupid (again, if true). If I were the CEO of Fender, I would hate to do it, but I would send him packing too. Having an opinion is one thing. Laughing at the potential to run someone over is another matter altogether. Sure, I fall squarely into the "Screw 'em if they can't take a joke" camp in many cases. This crossed the line in my view.

Again, I did a 45 second Google search and found "a guy on the interwebz" who claimed to know what happened. But, if it's true, it was a dunce move. I wish him the best of luck. I hope he learned a lesson (unfortunately the hard way).

I dd not say anything about BLM it was a joke. This is about the worship of money and their bottom line. IMO Fender basses have sucked recently.

Um.... I didn't say anything about BLM either. You said your grievance was that Cruz got fired. I pointed out why he got fired. Fender has a LEGAL obligation to its shareholders. They have no choice. They are legally obligated to do what is best for the bottom line being that they are not owned by "one guy".

So, they aren't "worshiping money". They are trying to stay out of jail. And you're being a little dramatic. :D

You know I don’t care if you don’t get it. I see what is being done to this country very clearly. If talk bass kicks me off I’ll wear it like a badge of honor.
