I'm currently puting together plans for a new warwick.

    Streamer Stage 1 5 string
Pearl white gloss finish (body, neck and headstock)
wenge or ebony board with block pearl inlays
    bassline pups and eq

all i need to decide on is the hardware colour.

What do you guy's think, silver, gold or black?

p.s does anyone know who makes the pearl tuners for yamaha (as featured on the new nathan east model) ?

I have once seen a band where the basist was playing a white Streamer 6 - if i remember right, it was gold hardware, BUT IT LOOKED VERY BAD! Are you sure you want a white one? For example there is Ocean Blue, that looks very good with Gold; if you leave it natural, then black and chrome will both go well with it; Burgundy red and Gold; Honey violin and black or gold; etc are all nice combinations.
    Just my $0.02

I would have said black but if you're going for 'pimp' effect, I'd tend towards gold instead.

  10. Go for the GOLD!! I re-hardwared my white jazz bass last year, bridge, tuners, control plate, jack plate, neck plate, strap locks and string tree, along with gold screws for the tortus shell pickguard and pick-up screws. I think it looks great! I get at least 1 good comment every gig.
Check out Nathon Easts Yamaha, white with gold, looks sweet!!

I agree. I would pick black, but for the pimp effect, it has to be gold.
