Brand new. I had one of the original units and had only run it on AC. They had some issues with those not running on batteries. I went to use it last week when recording and lo and behold, it didn't work on battery. So I took it back and the store replaced it with one of the updated units that doesn't have that problem. But I also got a Zoom B3 for Father's day, so I really don't need it. Anyway....functions single string, polyphonic, normal, strobe, has settings for 4, 5 and 6 strings. Great unit. $75 shipped. The box, by the way, is from my original unit. The UPC is cut out on that because they had a rebate going on when I bought it.

    Thanks!

Bump for an excellent tuner, it beats the Polytune hands-down.
