i'm planning on buying this head. i was just wonder how exactly to hook it up to my 4ohm 4x10 cab. cause both of the speaker outputs are labeled 8ohms. my cab has parallel inputs, so do i need to run an 8ohm output into each of them. would that work?

    thanks.

Just run one cord to the cab. the amp can tell what ohm it should be running at. Hartke RULES!

    The 3500 is like this - (1) 8 ohm cab = 240 watt
    (2) 8 ohm cabs (one cab plugged in each speaker output) will be 350 watts @ 4ohms, this will be split into 2 so 175 watts per output. (1) 4 ohm cab will be 350 watts or (2) 8 ohm cabs run together will be 350 watts @ 4 ohms (one output). Do not run (2) 4 ohm cabs.
