Harmonics

    Today i messed around with harmonics for the first time ever....well not ever but more then just like one or two, i just messed around for a while. It sounds so awesome, but any tricks on gettin better sounding harmonics towards the lower end of the neck?

    A very, very, very light touch, and pluck right next to the bridge with your pluckin' hand. Precise finger placement becomes more important the closer you get to the nut, as well.
     
  3. You might want to pluck with your nails for some of the high ones.

    Turning off your neck pickup will help too.

    +1. Besides, if your amp has a "mid contour" button, turn it off. Mid scooping is harmonics' #1 enemy.
     
  6. I have no idea how to play harmonics... Can somone tell me please? I am completly clueless... whats a pinch? natural? artificial harmonic? Thanks
