Have you ever heard of this brand-builder?
Only thing I found is that Harper built strange shaped custom guitars for Blue Oyster Cult guitar player.
I have had the information that they built also some Jazz like basses. Ever seen-tried - owned one?

  3. Well, if we're talking the same thing (German made) I bought one last Sunday. A used fretless 6 on Ebay. Its pretty good, though a budget instrument. I feel it's probably assembled from Far Eastern body bits, etc, but that doesn't make it too bad.

I paid £100 for it (which was probably slightly too much). New, they go for about £150 with another £20-ish for carriage.

At least as a introduction to fretless 6 playing I've no real complaints, and especially for the money.

I don't think I'd buy another one, though.

But, yeah, for what they are, not too bad.
