Hartke 1415 Combo Amp or Behringer BX1200 Bass amp?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by IAMERICCOCHRANE, Nov 30, 2003.

  1. Im looking for a new 120 watt amp, and these are the best deals ive found, but Im not sure which one to go with. The Hartke is $459.95, while the Behringer is $249.00. The Behringer seems like a steal at that price, but I don't want to spend that much on a cheapo, have to service once a month amp. Can anyone give any insight on either of these amps to help me make an educated discission? Thanks ahead of time.

+1. But why get the Hartke? For 20 dollars more, you can get a 200 watt Yorkville amp which will have better tone and will be loud as hell, while being much more reliable, and will have a much better warranty.

You can't go wrong with this amp. It also loves pedals. :bassist:

  6. Thanks for that Yorkville link, that looks like a good contender, I tried out the Behringer at a local shop, and I didn't like it all that much. So now its a toss up between the Yorkville and the Hartke.
