Hartke 3500 and sansamp bddi pedal, compressor

    Just got a used BDDI pedal and wanted to see how people use them with a Hartke 3500. It is mentioned in the manual that I can use it into the preamp or bypass and go right to the power amp.

    Also the Hartke is new to me and only gigged once with it. I have heard numerous negative comments on the compressor. I also have a chance to pick up a Joe Meek MQ3 compressor?!?!?

    I was thinking of putting the compressor in the effects loop and the pedal in front of the preamp ?!?!?

    This midlife newbie would certainly appreciate any feedback. I just went from a Hartke B90 combo to a Hartke 3500 with a 4-10xl and a Tech Soundsystems 2-12 cab. Major upgrade for me and a lot of learning to do.
