HARTKE 3500 or 4000

    which one do yall think is better.
  2. I haven't played the 4000 (but you can read up on it and a back issue of BP mag.. it got an award from them) but I like my 3500.. you should go play them before you buy one.

    I haven't played the 4000 either, but i'm very happy with my 3500. It's a little noisy by the way.

    The 4000 did get an award from Bass Player mag., but I think that the 3500 is one of the cheapest and best low-budget amps in the market (I got mine for $371 at www.music123.com)

    Try them both if you can. You're ears will help you make the correct choice.
