Hartke hydrive or GK

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by apollo18, Aug 2, 2012.

  1. I've been doing my research but I can't decide which combo would be the smarter purchase I would only be to using it for a practice amp. They both sound like great combos. One thing I do worry about is the bad reviews about hydrive blowing up. But people do say the sound awesome. Are they worth the money? I also see people really like the GK combos. I'm lost lol your opinions would be appreciated.
    Thx in advance

I am a current GK junkie but I did own a Hartke HyDrive 8x10 cab for a bit and have demoed alot of other Hartke gear in stores,,,,, GK and Hartke are both great products in my opinion but I would give the edge to GK because of the reduced weight and the lower pricing in most case's.

I also like the overall tone of GK gear more than Hartke,, but thats "my" personal taste.
