Hartke 7000 run through 1 or 2 Tech Soundsystem CT2000 cabs with tweeters at 3/4 on.

    Tube:4
    S.S.:4
    Comp:5
EQ: Flat except I drop 3K about 1/2 to all the way down (a truly ugly frequency)
    H.Pass: Flat
    L.Pass: Flat
Bi-Amp: Off (I prefer full range)
    Vol:2-4 depending on venue

If I have to run my NS Design Electric upright through this system I turn off the compressor and EQ completely.

Hartke 1400 with 1 cab (low volume gigs)

    Low: 3 o'clock
    Low Mid: 1 o'clock
    Hi Mid: 10 o'clock
    Hi: 12 o'clock (flat)
    EQ Curve: off
    Comp: on

w/ Upright: Everything flat with no Compression.

    Tube: 3 or 4
SS: 0, ill add in a little if i want a bit more boost
    Comp: never more than 3
EQ: 30 and 64 are flat, boost low mids, cut highs at 1Khz and on. sometimes bring back 5Khz and 8Khz.
Low Pass: im really not sure. before i had it racked, on the way to a gig to post got knocked off. i recently repaired it with a radio shack pot, and i actually have more bass boost than with the factory pot. less control however. i run it at im guessing 3/4
    Hi Pass: 12 o'clock
    Master: 3-5 with a band

Thru a Bag End D10X-D or a 73 Ampeg V4-B cab. if im using the ampeg, i bring back more highs, and cut lows.

I run my 3500 through either an Aguilar GS410 or Bag End S15-D.

    Tube: 5-6
    SS: 4-5

    Compressor: off.

I never engage the graphic EQ.

Low filter: on 3 or 4 for dub, otherwise flat.

High filter: -4 for dub, +2 for playing with a pick, but usually flat.

I bought through eBay the week before TB Philly- but it hadn't arrived in time! If it had, I would have brought it and the BE... Can you imagine hooking up Mr Cookie's Aguilar rig with 2 410s?!?!

How is that possible? The 4200 Pro is a 4 ohms load by itself...

What is the ohms on a Avatar 210? What would the ohms be if running the cabs in series instead of parallel? It might be within safe limits.

    If the Avatar is 8ohms:

Running the 2 cabs in parallel (one amp head output to each cab) the effective resistance on the amp will be 3ohms. Not good if your amp is a 4ohm safe minimum.

If you run these cabs in series (one into the other from one amp head output/daisychaining*) the effective resistance on the amp will be 12ohms. Should be no problem.

*Note: Beware, some cabs already have their input/output jacks wired in parallel so daisy chaining will still have the cabs hooked to the amp in a parallel configuration. If this is true of your first cab in the chain you will once again have a 3ohm load. If, by chance, one of your 2 cabs has series input/outputs, put this cab FIRST in the chain then your other cab.

How come you boost your 8K 15 dB, then cut your high pass 10 dB?
