It's only 250 watts perside, so you might wanna get two separate Ampeg 2x10 cabs or a 2x10 and 1x15.

    Can't he bridge the amp?
  5. I have played many hours using a Hartke 4000 head and an Ampeg 410HLF and 210 cab. Honestly, i really didn't like it at all. The head just kept clipping with my Spector bass. Before the studio put in the Hartke head, he had an old Trace Elliot head that was wonderful and could handle my bass, and do it at louder volumes as well. So personally, and mind you, this is my opinion, i would either get cabs from someone else, or replace the head. That or get the Pro series Ampeg cabs.
  6. No, it's not only 250W per side.
    There is a bi-amp mode(250w) on the amp and a mono mode(500W)
I will use it in the mono mode, there is a switch on the backside of the amp to change this.
The amp runs on 4 or 8 ohms.
