I'm about to de-fret my Epiphone Eb-3 since I don't have a fretless, and don't play it atm because I like my 5 string jazz bass a lot, so de-fretting this one would give me a reason to play it because of the new tonal options (I don't have a fretless you see)
I'm just wondering if anyone found it successful, and would suggest any mods I should make while operating on the bass (Eg: New pots, pickups, capacitors)?
