has anyone recorded w/ bmax ss preamp?

    i was wandering if anyone here has recorded direct using BBE BMAX NON TUBE PREAMP? how did it work out for you. im going to record w/ my band tommorow and last time lugged way tuch gear in that i never even used.

    I have and It has a decent sound. Friday night shed just a little recording i did on my laptop with a usb lightsnake. I dont use it anymore I have moved to a tubepre. The Bmax isn't bad I just couldn't get what i wanted out of the eq section.
