has anyone replaced a neck on a post 2008 fender jazz bass

Reliable Fender, on eBay, ain't exactly a steal, but they are a retail outlet for Fender parts (pull-offs from new guitars, if I understand it correctly). If they say it is, it is. I've bought 2 bodies and one neck from them, 100% mint every time. Their stuff goes on sale at 10% off for a couple days each week. Buy it then.

Big fan of Allparts necks. A very nice fit on my '08 P bass body.

 

I've toyed with the idea of getting a maple board neck for my '08 Am. Std. Jazz in Blizzard Pearl. But the thing sounds soooo good with the rosewood board that I'm afraid to change it up just for aesthetics. Still, if I were to ever find a really sweet deal on an '08> Am.Std. neck with maple board...

 

+1 for Reliable Fender/The STRATosphere on ebay. Genuine Fender parts, and they have a huge range. Bought a 2012 Jazz neck off them recently, as well some some hardware, and couldn't be happier.
