Has SVP-Pro changed alot over the years?

I came across an old ampeg SVP-Pro. It is not the model that is currently sold in MF. It does have the exact same controls however. The cosmetics are just different. It has the older ampeg logo.

Is there anything wrong with this one (the design)? I'm assuming it has tubes, but I can't see them from the outside.

    Need help.

I just took the top off to look under the hood. The circuit board says 7/95 on it, and it has 12ax7, and 1 12au7 like the new one, so I think it might be the new model, just with older cosmetics.

Any one know what year they started the new one?
