That's my first impression of what I saw here. <TWA Dynamorph™ : Distortion? Fuzz? Filter? Synth? All of These> ?
yep it has to be at least a very similar circuit, but the dynamorph can do more things plus it has a clean blend (the middle small knob, ametaboly i think it is). i dont think its worth 2x a prunes tho.
I hate when pedal makers try to get all cutesy with the function labels. Just tell us what the knobs do in simple terms. Nobody cares about your polymetabolobbly and your ectomorphism.
I had a Prunes and Custard and it never ever sounded like this, yet I've heard time and time again it is a synthy pedal. Maybe I had a defective one?
Dumb layout and control labels unfortunately. Always cool to see different interpretations of the circuit though.
I had one too. It was similar to this one in ways. The TWA seems to do much more. I got GAS attack for the TWA one though, wow. Those sounds really turned me on!
My clone from Fuzzdog absolutely makes that synthy squelch sound. It makes my T70 a good bit more synth-sounding in the loop.
My Prunes and Custy literally sh1t the bed hours ago. I absolutely LOVE this pedal and immediately started looking around......they are not available all the time, of course today there's one here and 3 over on Reverb. And now this new idea.......decisions, decisions
I have the P&C and it isn't going anywhere. I've heard the Tech21 Red Ripper labelled as a 'P&C on steroids' by another user, so that's worth a look too!
I've also built one of those and it totally nails most of the sounds of the TWA. It's one pedal that doesn't go anywhere.
