Have you heard the bass line on the song The Preachers son??

    The whole Dusty In Memphis album is great! I've played Son of a Preacher Man on a lot of gigs over the years.

    this should be in recordings since its talking about a bassline, and not in bassists, where we'd put it if we were talking about the bass player him/herself

    That song is one of those songs where everything fits together miraculously well.

    Used to cover that song.
    The line is a great groove. Smokey.
    Not hard, but it takes a lot of feel to pull it off.
    Really doesn't work out too well when the drummer starts to rush.
