    The key areas in the Bridge of descending major 3rds ( G# Major / E Major / C Major, in this version), is a foreshadowing of Coltrane's "Giant Steps" (as well as "Countdown").
    Saxophonist/Composer Walt Weiskopf's book, "Coltrane: A Player's Guide to His Harmony", is an excellent resource for further study.
