    Hi, guys.
I bought 1992 Fender '62 reissue precision bass last week from a local guitar player. He said that he bought it new one from a Local shop several years ago. It sounds great and is very good condition. Everything looks authentic except fretboard. It has "Pau Ferro" fretboard instead of the common "rosewood". It has V0XXXXX serial # as well. I really like this bass but just wondering why it has "Pau Ferro".

  2. Rosewood is getting hard to find. Pao ferro is plentiful.
