Have you seen "The Coffin" (2x15 SRO loaded cabinet)?

Back in the mid '70s when I was taking lessons from Jim Scholten (now of Sawyer Brown), Jim was kind enough to lend me a cabinet of his when the band played out.

The cabinet was big...48 by 24 by 18 and heavy. It was called "The Coffin", and it sounded wonderful...deep and punchy, much better than the EV designed TB style cabinet (the daddy to the TL606 cabinet) that I was using at the time.

Distinguishing features were...a slot type center port that was horn loaded (i.e. the slot got wider toward the back), loaded with two EV SRO 15s, covered in silver vinyl with black grilles. The back was removable (since SROs can't be front loaded) and it had a single XLR jack as an input (no 1/4 in. phone jack).

Perhaps Jim still has it somewhere since I haven't spoken to him since '76 or so, but it could be anywhere from Michigan to Atlanta.

If you've come across this cabinet, or one of similar design, please let me know.
