I got thses pix from Yatoo Music in Japan. They're part of ESP.
Wow, that natural one is a beauty! I really like that look a lot. I bet that pickup configurateion would be great! Really thick sounds I would think. Lotsa bottom!
One change, I would add a bridge cover to it, maybe put in a j-retro or similar pre-amp.
That looks awesome, I bet its got a ton of sounds.
Plus they have Basslines p'ups! Maximum spankage!
Any idea on the price of these beauties?
Hm... would a bridge cover completely cover the musicman-esque humbucker?
This got me thinking what if the humbucker was right next to the neck.
If I remember you wont be able to buy unless you by it direct from Japan.
Hmm, I dunno if a bridge cover could be put on that... Now that I look at it, the bridge is a lot closer to the "butt" of the instrument than it is on a standard jazz... I don't know if there will be enough space to mount the cover on there.... hmm...
gives me an idea...i shall build a J/P/MM/J kinda thing sometime...neck thru...maybe a warmoth with a few extra routs in it.....
another project to add to the "project idea" list.
Wow, that just totally killed my excitement It sounds like shipping prices out the wazoo
i agree Nick...that thang is purty! like the inlays.
Yup. We just shipped a guitar to Japan, and UPS quoted us two options: appx $350 or appx $380!
Im in love
I do agree that Vintage looking Jazz is pretty tasty ..can I have a slice?
Looks like I might be talking to the people at warmoth about a p/mm routed j body...
I played an edwards bass a little while ago it was pretty cool.
esp japan looks like they make a bunch of gresat basses, you guys should defintely check out their site
Hmm. Looks just as ugly as a Fender.
