I'm having problems with my Bartolini HR-5.4 preamp harness.
I cannot boost mid freq. when the mid switch is on 250hz or 800hz mode. When I try turning the mid knob, my sound gets a distorted sound for a milisecond and then goes off...
Is it a problem caused by my soldering quality? Or is it caused by something else related with bartolini pres?

    please :help:

    FWIW:

If I'm not mistaken the switch is 250/500/800 and it's not going to work at 5 and not the others. Switches are among the most challenging soldering jobs. I'd speculate the probable source is 99% wiring/soldering.

Sounds like a soldering wire not attached properly type problem
