head help here

    Hey guys i'm new to the board, just saying whats up to all.

    I'm debating between two heads right now.

    Eden Roadrunner 600 and Eden WT550. I have played them both but can not choose. Can some people post there opinons, All thoughts welcome.

    If using only one cabinet, an 8-ohm, I would prefer the WT600 because you can bridge the stereo amp into an 8-ohm load and have 600W. The 550 makes only 300W with an 8-ohm load.

    Otherwise the 550 will be a little more flexible as far as setup options with different cabinets because it can handle as low as a 2-ohm load.

    Tonally, I don't think they sound that much different. Some say the original stereo WT amps (500,600,800) sound warmer. I don't have a ton of experience with Eden, but I don't hear anything obvious.

    Yeah i got the d410xlt cab at 8 ohms now, but plan to get a 2x10 sometime down the road, thanks for the help guys.

    is the 600 a discontinued model?? I'd vote 550.
