I'm torn between what I should get to go with my new SWR Goliath Sr. I've already determined that I want to get a SWR 750x head if I decide to get the single unit and if I go with the preamp and power amp option, I'm planning on using a Tech 21 Bass Sansamp RBI for the preamp and no clue what to use for the power amp. What power amp that puts out 1000 at 4 ohms bridged would you reccomend? What are the benefits of each. I'm mostly going to be playing pop-punk and such, but I also want the option being able to play fingers and some slap when I'm in the mood.

Personally i am in favor of the preamp/poweramp as it offers you much more flexiblity.
Stewart and QSX PLX power amps are both lightweight and outstanding
    i think a stewart 1.6 or plx 1204 (i thnk that's the model #) are what you're looking for
