Sounds great (except for maybe the in-laws :D ). I'm quite jealous of two people in my English class right now.

One of them, a very close friend of mine, works on and off at Shoreline in one of the booths, so she gets into a lot of concerts there for free. She had never heard a Rush song that she remembered, but heard they were good. So she went...without me! :(

The other one is a guy who had never even heard of Rush and went to the Shoreline show with his uncle, who told him it would be awesome.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm so JEALOUS!

I've been sulking in English class all week after I heard.

  4. ...for the first time since Valentine's night 1983 on the Signals tour at the Long Beach Arena. Here is a comparison of 2 setlists seperated by 19.5 years (and a hint of what Gabu can expect). Interesting side note: I got my first bass on 2/15/83. Here I am 2 decades later and I expect my first full-album credit playing original material will materialize before the 20th anniversary. (This doesn't count partial album credits or full albums of non-originals; I have 5 album credits already.) And now the lists, in chronological order of the songs' release:

SIGNALS no intermission (to the best of my memory; I KNOW the following were played, but there might be an omission or 2)

VAPOR TRAILS with intermission (Methinks there is only 1 song missing; from a newer and, to me, forgettable album. It's the one I took a potty break during. "Between the Earth and Sky"-? something like that.)

    Working Man (abridged)
    By-tor and the Snow Dog
    2112 (parts 1 & 2 -downtuned)
    Cygnus X-1 (abridged)
