I want to build a Kydd-like upright electric bass.

Anyone know of resources for Steinberger-like headless bass parts?

Allparts has some headless bridges and the like. If I ever wanted to get something from them I'd find a dealer (like my local shop) that can get it at a discount. The prices on their website seem to be list. They've got the ABM headless bridges and headpieces last time I looked.

Status Graphite appears to sell their single-string headless bass bridge units and string retainers through their online shop in the parts category.

    MusicYo has some Steinberger parts.

Langley Guitars has some nifty stuff, particulary the detuning headpieces.

Good luck - I hope to someday get a custom headless put together
