I just received a few sets of strings from XLX2 , and let me say these things are great. They will actually make strings for you in any gauge you want. Since I tune in 5ths (CGDA), this was a god send. I got a 125, 95, 60, 40, in pure nickel wrap with graduated windings. Very well made, and sound much more mellow than all the other stainless steel offerings out there. They also offer tapewound, flatwound, and just about any other type of string you can think of for headless basses. These guys are way cool and I highly recommend them. Check them out, and send them your money!

  2. That's very cool, although I don't think many headless people are in any condition to be posting on the internet. I know where I'm going for my strings if I ever get decapitated.

What did they charge you on those? I've been tempted to order some strings from them, but I thought they're prices were pretty expensive, even for Europe.
