Before I potentially fry my nice headphones , can I put them into my line out or effects send out of my amp when i want to practice ? . My main amp has a dedicated phones socket but id rather power up my smaller practice amp 5 times a day than my " good " one . Does the line out give a constant uncontrollable volume ? . Thanks in advance

I don't think that the line out pushes enough power to give your headphones power. you could connect the line out to a headphone amp.

  3. Line out also won't drive both sides of the headphones, assuming it has enough juice to drive phones in the first place.

Try a pocket rocket or a Dean bass package set up.
