heads and cabs

    how does all this stuff work? because i have no idea when i try one out. i know it makes the sounds and stuff so dont be a smartass some people. im wondering how they go together and stuff
     
  2. uhhmmm The CAB is a big box with speaker(s) in it... and the HEAD powers these speaker(s)... and you plug your bass into the head... resulting in..SOUND

    Actually... You're wrong.

    The head is a combination of your preamp (your equalizier) and your poweramp (the thing that powers your speakers/cab)

    Your cab holds the speaker(s) and is the last line in the loop. :)
