I just got word from my friend that someone traded in an Alembic six string at the store I used to work at, Sam Ash in Columbus, OH. The kicker is that they tagged it at $2,000!

I'm definitely not interested or able to buy such a thing since I moved to Chicago and have no job, but I figured I'd let you guys know in case it's the deal you've been waiting for. Go in there or call and ask for my friend Mick, he'll treat you well.

I'll find out. He sent me pics, it's definitely a Stanley Clarke body style.

    UPDATE

They don't know what it's called, they just have a serial number. I've been told it comes with a $500 flight case.

What is the serial number. You can tell the model type from that.

  8. It's a '95 Series 2, and it's coming to my house. Eminor3rd, I owe you. If we're ever in Ohio at the same time (my family is originally from Youngstown), lunch is on me.

Nice snag KFS! Not many Series II 6 stringers floating around, much less for the price mentioned above!

  15. That's not the best part. Things are looking like this bass and my daughter should arrive here at just about the same time.

Ok that's not fair. If you already have 2 Series 2s you shouldn't get to buy a third for $2,000! What a deal!
