Title says most of it. I've used the nice $30-$40 ones, I've used the dollar store ones, and they all work okay in practice.

I go a bit haywire during shows:

All the plugs fly out of my ears. And no, no longer being a maniac onstage is not on the table.

Any thoughts? Are there any that have, say, something that clips behind your ear, or something? Been looking around forums/shops & haven't found anything.

    Save my ears talkbass!

The cylindrical foam ones probably stay in better than any other.

Yeah the expando foam kind stay in good. They muffle the whole sound pretty hard though, so it depends if you care about certain frequencies or not.

I knew a guitarist that used the wax plugs that some swimmers use. I tried some once and couldn't hear a dang thing.

Nice headbang and cool bass, BTW.

I have used these kind, and unless your ear canal grows while you're playing, they are not going to slip out.

Westone WM25 they stay in and are easy to pull out not to mention they sound fantastic. Very close to flat response for an earplug.

I have not personally tried this brand; however, I did use a custom made set I get at a gun show. http://www.earpeace.com/collections.../products/custom-ear-plugs?variant=1100790728 They are expensive, but hearing aids are about 25 times more expensive. This I know from experience.
