Hearos: Rock & Roll or High Fidelity?

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Not Mark Westlake, Feb 25, 2004.

  1. Hi,
My tinnitus has been getting worse, and seeing as I'm only just 17 I'd rather not be suffering worse when I'm older.
I've found a vendor for Hearos near me, so I just wanted to know: What are better, the Rock & Rolls or High Fidelity's?
    Thanks very much,
    Mark.

If you are only 17 and already have tinnitus...if you are covered under health benefits just get to a hearing specialist pronto and get custom fitted earplugs. You will be glad you did years from now.

Additionally get a "base line" hearing test by an audiologist. That will tell you what damage you might have already done and the ways that you can prevent further damage in both musical and non-musical situations.
damage to your hearing is NOT reversible.

  5. I've had trouble with my hearing since I've been really young, and I got tinnitus around then.

For a short term stop-gap though, would anyone recommend the Hi-fis?

Anyway, I've spoken to my Mum about it and we're going to sort out a hearing test.
