Heavy Gauge Strings on Geddy Jazz...

    Would i completely kill the neck on My geddy if i putted Heav Gauge (50 - 110) Rotosound Flatwounds on it? its my favorite strings, ssi would love to be able to use them...

    You'd probably have adjust the truss rod some.
    I love Rotosound RS77's & SH77's. Great strings.

    I'd go REALLY easy on any high tension strings with this baby.
    I don't usually put anything heavier than D'addario XL's on it and the neck is fighting me every step of the way with THOSE.

    i guess im gonna buy a bass that can hold thoose strings(preferably a Fender japan P bass..), so i gonna keep the geddy with standard Gauge strings...
