I found it due to a metal band(meshuggah) i like has a lead guitarist whos biggest influence was Allan Holdsworth. Awesome musicmanship right across the board on this album, especially the guitar work and bass. Just wondering who was the bassist on this album or is it a keyboard sound of some sort?. And what you guys think of it?
The album is a colaboration between allans holdsworth and some other guys, not meshuggah meshuggah's lead guitarist has taken alot off allan style into his own.
Sorry, dude - I would never have guessed that's what you meant by your first post.Maybe now you've clarified you'll get some more responses
Why not just do a Google search anyway - took me about 20 seconds and it came up straight away with this - http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jensjoh2 ...which gives you a link to their website!! Sometimes.. it's like Google never existed...
Jens Johansson - the keyboardist - plays 'bass' on that one. Pretty crappy album altogether... "All Night Wrong" is probably the definitive Holdsworth album for me; Jimmy Johnson and Chad Wackerman are also smokin' on that one!
I gotta agree,....this is a pretty bad album. The bass is definitely keyboard and holdsworth's playing is particularly mindless and uninspiring.
