I just scored a kit fretless. I can't keep my hands ( which I clean before I pick up the bass) off It!!!!
    The neck is unfinished maple..
Is there a cleansing substance that will clean it up or should I stop playing till I seal the bassneck??????? :crying :hyper: :

You could try wiping it down with naphtha before you finish it- that should take out the skin oils.
