Hello from Akron

    Totally new player here. 48 years old and just starting out lol. Tried starting out on guitar a few weeks ago, wasnt for me. Went to gc few days back just to look, found a bass that I love, now just have to figure out how to get it. I'll try to post pic if it works. Anyways just wanted to say hi and hope to get some good pointers from the people that know more than I in here 20190623_154539.jpg

    Welcome! How does the Yamaha feel and sound? Yamaha sells quality at many different price points. Price seems fair, was it made in Japan?

    Have any goals in mind? Looking to join a band or perhaps a bedroom player? Welcome to talk Bass!

    Baytown, Texas is now home.
    Welcome. Back in the dark ages Akron was one of my stops. I enjoyed staying at a motel on campus right by the track and field stadium. Good jog then after a shower I met my old friend Jack Daniels before dinner.

    Feels good..feels well played. Its a Taiwan make. 2000 I believe ..just a bedroom player unless I pick it up like 2nd nature, which i doubt lol ..just something to learn and keep me busy
