This jam just floors me every time. I can't figure out who the singer reminds me of, but the band is like a proto Soundgarden. Just heavy and sludgy and loud in all the right ways. They were an Aussie band back in the days of Mountain, Cactus, Sabbath, etc... And I love the recording on this. Punchy round big bass, fuzzy saturated guitars, nicely compressed 70s drums. Just good sh.. all around.

Yep, sounds like the early 70's. In the same realm as Frijid Pink, Dust, Sir Lord Baltimore, but not as interesting, kinda plodded for me, a chord change or two would have been nice. I liked the 'King's Cross Ladies' tune better. I used to eat this stuff up with a spoon when I was 14 or 15. Apparently they're still at it in a reconstituted form. The singer still has his vocal chops.
