Hello all, I'm Charles. I'm on sabbatical from uni, and I have a bass. The world is at my fingertips, if I can just figure out the right notes, and feel inclined to take over. I don't, so that's a shame.
If you can't tell, I despise introductions. I've been around music for as long as I can recall, but only recently have I been able to find the mental freedom to pick up an instrument and start playing. My current getup is an Ibanez GSRM20L and an old Teisco Checkmate 16 (20w) amp.
I'm musically inclined toward the Blues, Classic Rock, and the occasional Funk or Folk song. ZZ Top, Led Zep, Elvis Costello, classic King, even some Everclear and Cream.
Pet peeve are bassists who don't realize their amps volume goes below 9, especially in small rooms or with quieter band mates.
