    Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm LU-MAN! I'm a bassist out of Ga in the states. I have a love for Metal, rock and roll, and also will listen to some blues, Jazz, and even a little classical (if Appocolyptica count, ha!).

    Seriously though I am currently thinking of starting a christian metal group - simply b/c I haven't heard a really good christian metal band out there.

    Some of you may remember me as one of the loudest voices on "bass101" before that site went under. I don't plan to spend as much time here, but would love to get to know some of you! (Especially lady bassists! Gotta love em! :D)

    Welcome to TB buddy, I'm Tyler (aka NewBassPlayer66), TalkBass' number one off topic board person, this is the board I post on mostly and am always hanging round it, everyone just loves me here :p LOL. But anyways, a tip before you ask any questions, look them up! Do a search by keyword first because most people will either tell you to loook it up or give you a link if its been asked a bunch :p, with that aside, welcome and have a good time here! ~ Tyler

    As far as asking a question goes, thanks for the info. A search engine definitly speeds things up in that regard!

    I do have a question or two mainly:

    1) Does anyone know what happened to the Bently music company that made basses way back when? A Bently was my first bass, and I'm just curious about it.

    Also:

    2) Does 2 x 2 and 2 + 2 always have to come out to the same number? Can't they ever just come out to different numbers?
