Hello

Just joined the TB community, figured an introduction would be the next step:

I started playing bass 30+ years ago, but don't let that fool you. I hadn't played "for real" in at least 20 years, until I was recruited for my Church praise band 5-6 months ago. I'm having fun kicking the rust off, and getting back into it. But there's a lot of rust!

Looking forward to listening and learning around here, hope to have some useful input occasionally.

 

G.A.S.??? Been there, done that. If I spent 1/2 as much time practicing as I do looking at equipment, I might be able to play decently..... In fact, just bought 2 "new" basses this month! I picked up a Peavey Milestone II off Craigslist (long story, but a good deal), and a Hagstrom HIIB "project" off eBay. Surprised the wife let it happen. But I still have the itch.
