It's that time... Time to change the strings

Any recommendations on a good round wound, stainless steel, normal gauge 6 string set which happens to be extra long?
since I have no option other than string through body, the ball end to nut is about 38"-38.5", if the silk wrap starts before that - there's trouble.

the bass itself is a fretless 6 string, 34" scale, normal tuned (B-C).

    a bit of story:
I've had a La-Bella "extra long" :rollno: deep talking bass set on it for about 8 years now, but even though the sound is good, the B string (alone) is not long enough, the silk wrap started even before the nut and the wound stopped being consistent in the middle of the nut (ordered a couple of sets, all were the same).
incidentally, the nut just broke at the side of the B string...
now before I go fix her up, I want this farce to end and get some reputable strings to put on her.

    thanks a bunch
