Help. Aldo Nova Fantasy. Who's Right?

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by kschuyler, Sep 25, 2005.

  1. I play bass and my bandmates insist the bassline bounces from G to F in the beginning before finally going to the C. I claim it is a pretty straight part and goes more like this:
GGGGGGGGG, F C Bflat, GGGGGGGGG, FF, CC.

They say it is more like:
GGFGGFGGG, F C Bflat, GGFGGFGGG, FF, CC.

I listened to the part over and over and I say it's straighter than they do. I emailed the MP3 to the keyboard player and told him to listen again (thinking he would see it my way) and to my shock he says he still hears it. I say it's just a drum part creating some kind of ghost note.

Help a fellow bassist come up with concrete proof please..

Anyone know where I can get official Tab or anyone care to respond with your opinion please help. Thanks.
