I am in the market for used gear:

Do you guys think a Bag End QDX-10 410 speaker cabinet is worth $475? It can handle 800 watts at 8 ohms and 400 watts at 4 ohms.

Do you guys think an Ampeg svt-200T head that puts out 250 watts max is worth $350?

Do you guys think this is a pretty good match for head and cab combo?

Can anyone explain ohms or give me a link to some reading material? I have no clue what the diffrence is between 4 ohms and 8 ohms.

The SVT 200T is a solid state head that puts out 200 watts at 8 ohms and 350 watts at 4 ohms. I own one and think it would sound great with that speaker cab. You could probably do better power wise than that head, but depending on your playing situation you probably wouldn't need more power. As far as price $350 is fair as long as the amp is in excellent condition. Mine is pretty beat up now after 10 years of gigging and I probably could only get $250 for it.
