HELP. buildin a bass

    under a palm tree sippin pepsi
    i have a chance to buy a mighty mite bass body. excellent shape. is it worth buildin? by the time im done will the cost be greater than something i could buy? how does something like this sound when its finished? im a mechanic so i love to fabricate. please set me straight on this project. let me know the pros and cons. thank you for your time, mike.

    Mike you should probably head to the luthiers forum, you'll get some good tips from them.

    If you do everything right, you can make yourself a great instrument at less cost than having one built for you. However, if you're not very confident, you may end up spending more money than you wanted to.
