OK, I am a moron when it comes to buying stuff over the net.

I am trying to choose between a bass from Canada and one from Puerto Rico.

I need to find out how the taxes work, how much I can expect to pay for shipping from Puerto Rico, and if Paypal will handle a transaction that large, and how much their fee is.

The Paypal website is totally uninformative on fees for individuals, but it says something about a limit of $100.

    Help me!:D

  2. Well for one thing, I don't think that you will have to pay taxes on the one from Puerto Rico since it's a US territory. Could be wrong though.

I know a person who got ripped off on some equipment internationaly. I would be carful, cause its on their good character that they actually send the merch.

    Thanks for the info, BW.

It would probably cost as much to ship from Alaska as it would from Puerto Rico.

Anyone else got any input for me?

From people who have bought internationally, how does the tax:eek: thing work?
