HELP! Buzzing sound when I turn up my pick ups.

I have an ESP LTD B-154 and it was totally fine, all electronics in working order- until 2 days ago. I plugged it in and it just started buzzing so loud. I'm new to bass so forgive me if this is an obvious question, but is this a grounding issue? No matter what I do, if i turn the active pickups on, there is a loud obnoxious buzzing. Oh, and there is signal coming through but the buzzing is unchanged when I play.
