I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to convert mp3s to some sort of streaming file, like Real Player or something. I tried searching the Real Player help section but came up with little. Thanks.
  2. you can use soundforge to save as "streaming" real audio files.

the trick is, they wont actually "Stream" unless they are hosted on a server with the streaming media server extensions enabled... all they will do is buffer and play, like any other file.

Edit: Hmm, had an idea which I tried, but it didn't work. I guess you need server software for streaming the media, both mp3/mpu and real player formats.

You can't do it with Real Player (Plus), they want you to buy Real Producer.

It may be easier to set up a shoutcast server that streams mp3s - and you can use Winamp to listen to it, but I don't know much about that.
